Biography
Blackhawk, an American country music band formed in 1992 in Nashville, Tennessee, performed at the Merritt Mountain Music Festival in Merritt, British Columbia, Canada, on July 14, 2006. The lineup for that year’s festival included Martina McBride, Blackhawk, Restless Heart, Little Texas, and Michelle Wright.
Blackhawk consists of founding members Henry Paul (lead vocals, guitar, mandolin) and Dave Robbins (keyboards, vocals), along with bassist Randy Threet. Prior to forming Blackhawk, Henry Paul was a member of the Southern rock band Outlaws, and both he and Robbins had success as songwriters for acts such as Restless Heart.
Blackhawk is actively performing in 2025.
